THE PROCESS:
Tifa was my lesser costume because I bought it from a Hong Kong distributor on EBAY. I wanted the costume so bad because I love Tifa Lockhart ever since '97.
The Vice costume I made for Halloween in 2004 because I had really short hair. I never finished the costume (the red fabric on the bottom of the outfit) until just last Thursday (June 8, 2006). The costume cost about $250 and is made of Satin and Suede. All was handmade except for the shoes, shorts, earrings, hose, and wig (for A-KON).
Aaron's Zangief costume took me only one week to complete (I started June 5, 2006). However it took about two months of planning because Aaron had to grow his hair and beard out. The outfit cost about $70 and is made of Vinyl. Everything except the cape and shorts was hand made.
MY MEMORIES:
Okay... The first thing that comes to mind about A-KON 17 is all the people that took pictures of Aaron in his Zangief costume. Dude you guys that said, "I pity the fool" SUCK!!! :P Not Mr. T folks!!! We got, "is that NACHO LIBRE" from two twelve year old looking girls. I got the is that VICE or MATURE? Sorry guys I'm not blonde. I have a blonde friend but I didn't have time to make the costume. Everybody threw up in the supposed CRUNK room. Bioclown is now BATHTUBCLOWN:
Pizza down the street was great... $24 Parking is ridiculous! SUP Pollux Rockstar!!! Five people from BemaniTX dressed up: Me, Aaron, Dave, Johnny, and Ash.
THE BEST OF THE BEST:
My favorite costumes were of course Aaron's, but others were the Pyramid Heads, the main guy from Shin Megami Tensei, GAARA TEMARI and UCHIHA ITACHI you are the BEST, Gir, the best FUCKIN' DAN ever, the SOUL EDGE that amazed me, RITA after ten thousand years you are free, SUP Antiform SORA, Jill Valentine I tried to chase you but you always disappeared on me, KANKURO props, Dosu Kinuta makes me want to join the sound clan, BEST DANTE and I loved your sword, HARD GAY is awesome...
Also thanks to Rude, Dan, Terry Bogart, Riddick, May, Ryu, Chun Lis, Reno, and everybody else that was so cool to us.
